How well do you know your partner questions: 13 to score
One of you answers about the other, the other says if it's right. Thirteen questions, a scoring rule that keeps it fair, and a warning: somebody is going to lose.
Good how well do you know your partner questions have one checkable answer: their coffee order, the song they always skip, their side of a hotel bed. One partner answers about the other, one point per correct guess. Here are 13 for tonight; the Pop Quiz deck has dozens more in the capybara cards app.
The best how well do you know your partner questions have one right answer and the other person is holding it. You guess their first pet's name, they tell you if you got it, you get a point or you don't. There's no "well, it depends." That's what makes it a game instead of a chat.
The rule that keeps it fair: the person being asked about is the only judge. If they say you got it, you got it. If they say you were close, that's half a point, and no appeals. Take turns so the same person isn't being quizzed all night, keep score out loud, and don't open with the hard ones. The first round should feel easy, right up until someone misses the coffee order they've ordered for them a hundred times.
Thirteen questions below, sorted into rounds: favorites, shared memories, predictions and the small habits only a partner would catch.

- Which drawer in our kitchen do I open and then close again every single time I'm looking for the scissors?
- Which word do I say wrong on purpose because it annoys you?

How to make it a game instead of a test
Decide the stakes before you start: whoever loses makes breakfast, or picks up the dog poop for a week. Keep it low enough that losing is funny. Take turns, one question each, and say your score out loud after every round so nobody can quietly recount at the end. If one of you is clearly winning, the loser gets to pick the next three questions. And if you want the questions picked for you, a card deck does it: one phone between you, tap, read it out, guess. Nobody has to think up the next one, and nobody can accuse the other of choosing easy ones.
Thirteen questions is one round. The real fun is the rematch next week, when one of you has quietly been studying.
